Members' Quiz Night @The London Library (In person)
In the spirit of friendly competition, gentle communal sparring and brain-teasing jollity, we’re inviting London Library members to take part in a big old quiz night. John O’Farrell, writer of page, stage, screen and everything else and a London Library Ambassador, will be your host and quiz master in a series of Library-inspired rounds and general fun. Bring a friend, create a team or just come along to meet fellow members. There will be prizes (but mainly kudos) to be won!
Tickets include wine/soft drinks for the table (there will be a paid bar for when those run out!) You can book a table for 4-6 people or buy an individual ticket and we will put you in a team.
John O’Farrell is the author of a dozen books including The Man Who Forgot His Wife, May Contain Nuts, Things Can Only Get Better, An Utterly Impartial History of Britain and Family Politics, published in March this year. Other writing credits include Spitting Image, Chicken Run and Chicken Run II and the Broadway/West End musicals Something Rotten! and Mrs Doubtfire. As a broadcaster he has appeared on Have I Got News for You, Question Time and Newsnight Review and he co-hosts the podcast We Are History.
NB: Only members can book - you will be asked for your membership number at checkout - but you are welcome to bring guests who are not members.
Doors (and the bar) open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
