Damian Barr's Literary Salon

Damian Barr’s Literary Salon is back live in-person and online and we’re delighted to be hosting this very special evening with them at the Library.

Joining Damian for an evening of memoir is Miriam Margolyes - award-winning actor, creator of myriad unforgettable characters, comedy genius and bona fide national treasure. She’ll be discussing her new autobiography This Much is True, which is packed with stories to tell a tale far richer and stranger than any of those she has acted in.  Also on the bill is Mohsin Zaidi, author of A Dutiful Boy, an instant classic told with humour and love about his journey from strict Muslim upbringing and dodging gangs on his way to school, to reckoning with his sexuality, Oxford University and a career in law.  Prepare for a night of sparkling conversation, scintillating stories and general hilarity.
