Institutional Membership is designed for organisations, charities and educational bodies looking to provide access to The London Library’s collection and resources for their teams. Members can enjoy a unique environment for reading, research and discovery, and become part of a vibrant community of readers, writers and thinkers.
Organisations may apply for membership in the name of a designated representative (who may be changed at any time) who may use the Library and has responsibility for all books. A representative may appoint one or two people (nominees who are transferable) who may make use of the Library in the representative’s name. The representative or nominee(s) may permit Library books and resources to be used by the members or employees of the organisation represented, as specified on the application form, on the premises of the organisation. In accordance with our licence agreements, only the representative and nominee(s) may access the membership to log in to the electronic resources.
Options available for organisations with more than 10 staff or members, or fewer than 10 staff or members. Reduced rates are available for registered charities and educational bodies.
