Overseas Membership

Visitors from overseas with no permanent address in the United Kingdom may apply for temporary membership of The London Library. The period of membership lasts for four months. The fee is £327.50; in addition, a deposit of a further £327.50 is payable on admission, which is refunded at the expiry of the period of membership provided that all books have been returned. Holders of such membership are entitled to all the privileges and are bound by all the rules of full membership except that they are not entitled to vote at a General Meeting.
