Why Support Matters
The Emerging Writers Programme exists to help remove barriers for talented early-career writers and provide access to resources, mentoring, community and one year of membership at The London Library.
Participation is free of charge, ensuring that writers from a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances can benefit from the programme.

Virago Participation Bursary
Generously funded by Virago Press, this bursary supports global majority women and global majority writers from under-represented genders participating in the programme.
The Emerging Writers Programme Access Bursary
Supports participants who may face financial, health or other barriers that could affect their ability to fully participate in the programme.
