THE BOOK FUND
'The Library is proud to launch a dedicated Book Fund to underwrite its most important activity: the purchase of 8,000 new volumes each year at a value of approximately £400,000.
Funders can offer support by pledging an annual sum or by “adopting” part or whole of a subject area: for instance the acquisition of Art books costs c £14,000 per annum, Food & Cookery c £500, History c £23,500 per annum, Philosophy c £8,000 per annum, Religion c £8,500 per annum and Topography c £2,500 per annum.
