ENQUIRIES AND ADVANCE ORDERS

Members may make advance requests for books to be fetched from the stacks and set aside for collection from the Issue Desk. They may also recall books currently on loan to other members. Enquiries and requests are normally dealt with on the day they are received, and may be made by:

 

  • Placing a request through the catalogue: From the full view of the record for the book, check the availability screen, then click on request.

Please remember to quote your membership number with all requests.
Books and periodical volumes requested in advance will normally be held at the Issue Desk for collection for a period of 14 days. If you wish to authorise a courier or any other person to collect the books on your behalf, please confirm the authorisation in writing (by email, fax or post as above) listing the books to be issued.
