Each year two graduate trainees are recruited to spend a year based in the Reader Services department. The posts are intended for those proposing to enrol on a postgraduate course in library and information studies, and aim to provide a wide-ranging introduction to library work and run from mid-September for a year. These posts are NOT suitable for anyone who has already taken a post-graduate course in librarianship / information science .
