- Dictionary of Canadian Biography Online: reproduces work that was originally commissioned by the Dictionary of Canadian Biography for its print version and was republished, sometimes with minor corrections, in the Dictionary of Canadian Biography CD-ROM.
- Dictonary of New Zealand Biography: this site includes the collected biographies originally published in the printed Dictionary of New Zealand Biography series between 1990 and 2000, and in the parallel Maori-language series, Nga Tangata Taumata Rau.

- Cecilia: Libraries, archives and museums with music holdings have submitted descriptions of their music collections, which have been collated to produce a web-based map of the UK's music resources.
- Journal of Seventeenth-Century Music: JSCM is published by the Society for Seventeenth Century Music and provides a forum for scholarly studies of musical cultures of the seventeenth century. The full text of this journal is available on the Internet without subscription.
- Music Research Links: this part of the British Library's website provides an alphabetical list of links to music-related websites and resources. It is targeted at musicologists, and some of the sites require a subscription.
- Music Theory Online: this is the refereed electronic journal of the Society for Music Theory, which is published several times a year. The full text of this journal is freely available on the Internet.
