ELECTRONIC LIBRARY
A wide range of electronic publications, databases and journals are available for members to consult at home or in the Library. Quick links to popular titles are included on the right. The full contents of the Electronic Library are available to members through the subject categories on the left.
When you use any of the subscription databases outside the Library you will be asked for the membership number or barcode from your membership card, and a PIN. If you need a PIN please contact the Library’s membership department (Tel: 020 7766 4720, email: membership@londonlibrary.co.uk).
From September 2009 the Library introduced a new login system and there is no longer any requirement for members to install additional addon software in order to consult these databases from home.
There are two ways of connecting to our subscription databases and journals. Firstly you can use the links that appear on these pages. Or alternatively, for a few but growing number of titles, you can go directly to the database website and then follow the instructions on the website to login “via your institution” or use a “shibboleth login”. In some instances you will find the London Library on a list headed “UK Federation”.
